How Regulator Service Works

Drop off your regulator

Walk in anytime and we’ll get it checked in for service. If anything beyond the standard service kit is needed, we’ll contact you for approval before doing anything extra.

Full service & tune to spec

We complete the service using the manufacturer’s service kit and tune it to spec. If we find issues beyond the standard kit (hoses, corrosion, damaged parts), we’ll contact you first.

Bench test + ready for pickup

After service we pressure/bench test, check for leaks, and verify performance. Then we’ll contact you when it’s ready.

Regulator Service FAQ

Which regulator brands are you an authorized service center for?

Authorized service for Scubapro, Atomic, Oceanic, Hollis, and Zeagle. If your brand isn’t listed, bring it in anyway—service options depend on parts availability, and we’ll tell you up front what we can (and can’t) support before any work is done.

What’s included in a standard regulator service?

Complete disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, replacement of manufacturer service-kit parts, reassembly, tuning to spec, and bench/leak testing.

Will you contact me before any additional work?

Yes. If we find anything beyond the standard service kit (for example hoses, corrosion, or damaged parts), we’ll contact you for approval before doing anything extra.

Ship-in regulator service (available)

Yes—ship-in service is available. Contact us first to confirm compatibility and return-shipping details, then ship your regulator to Pro Dive and we’ll ship it back after service.
Include your name, return address, & phone number in the box.

Can you check hoses / fix leaks even if I’m not doing a full service?

We can diagnose leaks and minor issues, and we’ll recommend the safest fix.
In some cases a full service is still the safest option—if so, we’ll explain why before proceeding.

Fast turnaround on common services—walk in anytime.

How tank inspections work

Drop off your cylinder

Bring your tank in and we’ll check the dates and condition to confirm what’s due.

VIP inspection

We complete the Visual Inspection (VIP), clean as needed, and check for corrosion or contamination. If anything needs extra attention, we’ll contact you first.

Filled & ready for pickup

When service is complete, we apply the VIP sticker and notify you it’s ready. If hydro is required, we coordinate it and complete a final VIP when it returns. If you request a fill (air/Nitrox/O2 where applicable), we’ll have it filled before pickup.

Tank VIP & Hydro FAQ

What’s included in a VIP?

A complete visual inspection of the cylinder (exterior, interior, and neck/threads), plus basic cleaning as needed.
We’ll replace the valve O-ring and the yoke O-ring is replaced as needed and we’ll let you know if anything needs additional attention.

Do you service tank valves / replace O-rings?

Yes—valve service and O2 cleaning (when appropriate) are available. If a valve is worn or not worth rebuilding, we’ll recommend the best replacement options.

Do you do hydro in-house?

Hydrostatic testing is performed by a certified hydro facility we work with. We handle coordination + paperwork, and we do an in-house pre-VIP before it goes out. If anything looks questionable, we’ll contact you before sending it. When it returns, we complete the final VIP, apply the VIP sticker, and let you know it’s ready.

Can you tell me what my tank is due for?

Yes—bring it in and we’ll confirm what’s due. Typically, scuba cylinders need a VIP every 12 months (check the VIP sticker) and hydro every 5 years (see the stamped date on the neck).

Can I drop off multiple cylinders?

Absolutely—bring them in and we’ll check them in together and confirm what each one needs.

Can I get the tank filled after VIP/hydro?

Yes—tell us what you want (air, Nitrox, or
O2 where applicable) and we’ll fill it once the service is complete.
