Pro Divers was founded over 50 years ago.

Today the shop enjoys a large customer base stemming throughout New Jersey and the greater Eastern United States.

Opening it's doors in 1971, Professional Divers Inc., filled the void that New Jersey divers needed - a knowledgeable and welcoming place to train divers, purchase the latest technology and dive equipment. Pro Divers prides themselves on their expertise in servicing your equipment and their welcoming and friendly staff.

Meet the team:

Tom

Tom began diving in 1971. A few years later in 1976 he became an Advanced Open Water Instructor. After years of holding Instructor Certifications with NASDS and PADI and Instructor Trainer Certifications with SSI and NAUI. Tom currently teaches at Pro Divers, issuing SDI/TDI and NAUI certifications. He also has a passion for Shark River Inlet diving and truly, the most knowledgeable of the area.

Ryan

Ryan has been with professional divers since before he walk. He's been scuba diving for over 20 years and has been instructing classes for over 14 years. For the last 15 years, Ryan has also been a firefighter with local fire dept, as well as an active member of the of the local dive rescue team. He's an active instructor who can be found running local dives for our new students who are looking for dive buddies, and want to explore local diving .
